What’s been going on at the roastery?

The Aeropress competition here at Back in Black was a huuuuuuge success!

From 27 candidates using the same coffee through 13 rounds, we finally found our winner - Cléo Guéguen, barista at Kawa!

Congrats to all who participated, and we look forward to seeing you at the final in Nice on the 15th of October.

Now for the the big reveal… The coffee they used! As sponsor roaster, KB chose and roasted the coffee for the baristas to use, and we’re now free to launch it in our playlist!

Coming soon… is a spontaneous natural Mundo Novo variety from Fazenda Taquaral in Minas Gerais, Brazil.

We’ve previously had something super round and nutty from them on espresso, but this lot is a juicy, tropical bomb on filter.

We can’t wait for you to taste it, check it out as we launch in the next few weeks!
