Roastery News #66

What’s been going on at the roastery?

More coffee from Ethiopia, this time on espresso!

Adanech Gemade was one of the first women farmers to obtain her export license when they became available in 2017, and quickly stopped selling cherry to the local main processing station.

Now she processes the cherry from 28 neighboring family members’ small farms, and is a forerunner of women’s coffee production in Yirgacheffe.

Her naturally produced coffeethis year is stunning - juicy, clean, and perfectly sorted.

Expect a luscious, jammy acidity, lots of red fruits and caramel, with a delicate and tea-like finish, even on espresso.

Keep an eye out for more coming
